New Covenant Faith (NCF) Ministry is a nondenominational church available globally through our online ministries. God gave Pastor Donte the vision to start NCF Ministry over 20 years ago to provide a safe and innovative space for people to learn more about themselves through forming an intimate relationship with Christ.

Through their union, God gave Pastor Donte and his wife Pastor Dr. Brittany the guidance and tools needed to found NCF Ministry in June 2023. Pastors Donte and Brittany are proud parents to 6 beautiful children.

Our Pastors’ goals for NCF are to partner with the Holy Spirit to teach biblically-based practical skills to transform hearts, minds, and souls to live for Christ. They believe that: (1) there is only one true living God revealed through three persons-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; (2) Jesus was born through a virgin birth and lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died a sacrificial death on the cross and rose on the third day and is sitting on the right hand of God to advocate on our behalf; and (3) Jesus sealed the deal on the cross providing intergenerational healing for the mind, body, and spirit.

NCF Ministry’s core principles are:

  • We are led by the Holy Spirit. (Psalms 119:105)

  • We love hard. (John 13:35)

  • We are stronger together. (1 Corinthians 1:10)

  • We forgive quickly. (Colossians 3:13)

  • We pray without ceasing. (James 5:16)

  • We worship like there is no tomorrow. (Psalms 47:1)

  • We read our Bible daily. (Joshua 1:8)

  • We are committed to growing in faith. (Ephesians 3:20)

  • We are ready to serve. (Colossians 3:23)

  • We give generously. (2 Corinthians 9:6)

  • Pastor Donte Butcher

    LEAD PASTOR

    Pastor Donte Butcher was called to ministry at 24 years old under the leadership of his grandfather the late Pastor Lee Mathews. Pastor Donte was ordained to ministry by Pastor Mathews and served at the Corinthian Baptist Church for over two decades. Most recently, he served in ministry at Life City under the leadership of Pastor Leon Scoggins. Pastor Donte has helped several ministries across the Bay Area blossom and grow and is excited about what God is going to do through him with NCF Ministry.

    Pastor Donte has also served as a Police Officer and Field Training Officer in law enforcement for over 25 years. He is certified in Officer Standards and Training, Baton Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Taser Instructor, Firearm Instructor, Monadnock Defensive Tactics Instructor, and Handcuff Instructor. He has also served as a member of the Special Emergency Response Team and was the recipient of the police officer quarter award. In addition, Pastor Donte has served as the president of the Police Officer Union Association.

    Pastor Donte has been a guest speaker at numerous seminars about church security, public safety departments, and has served as a safety consultant for several entertainment and night club establishments. He and his company, Peaceful Journey Executive Protection, are a part of the Guinness World Records* Record-Breaking title for the Most Extended Consecutive Running Rap Tour in history, with Artists Machine Gun Kelly and Tech N9ne, who successfully performed 90 shows in 99 days. Pastor Donte has been featured on Fox40 news (Sacramento, Ca), MTV, multiple publications, and radio talk shows.

    Currently Pastor Donte has a mortuary transportation business partnering with local mortuaries across the Bay Area to ensure loved ones who transition have a peaceful ride to funeral homes.

  • Pastor Dr. Brittany Chambers Butcher

    CO-PASTOR

    Pastor Dr. Brittany has a doctorate of philosophy (PhD) in Community Health Education and a masters of public health (MPH) in Health Promotion. Her primary occupation is teaching and doing research at the University of California at Davis. Her scholarly work focuses on advancing equity in Black Maternal Health through using a community engaged approach to better understand and dismantle racism. Pastor Dr. Brittany has over 40 published peer-reviewed articles on this topic. You can find out more about her scholarly work here.

    Pastor Dr. Brittany has received over 1.5 million dollars in research grants from prestigious federal agencies and foundations including the National Institutes of Health and the California Health Care Foundation. Currently, Pastor Dr. Brittany is a recipient of a National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD K01MD015785) grant to develop, pilot, and evaluate an antiracism training for perinatal care providers. This grant helps move forward legislation outlined in California Senate Bill 464 aimed at reducing the high rates of maternal mortality among Black women and birthing people.

    Pastor Dr. Brittany was called to ministry in 2020 and was ordained in 2022 by her father Pastor Ken Chambers. Prior to launching NCF Ministry with her husband Pastor Donte, Pastor Dr. Brittany served at her family’s church, West Side Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland, California under the leadership of Pastor Ken Chambers.

    In January 2021, Pastor Dr. Brittany launched Faithfully Yoga to curate an online space for inspiration and meditation based on God’s word as a tool to build people’s faith in and relationship with God. Since then, Pastor Dr. Brittany has inspired hundreds of people through her Meditation Mondays on her social media accounts, book #Faith Goals: A 21-day guide to build your faith in God, and conference #Faith Goals.

    Pastor Dr. Brittany is most enthusiastic about the calling that God has placed on her life to co-pastor NCF with her husband Pastor Donte.
